vo jobs & demos

A very distinctive vocal quality, my natural voice is gentle, intimate and sincere.

After training with those clever people at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School & Christchurch Studios, Gravy for the Brain and a Voiceover Kickstart with Guy Michaels, my demos are listed below.

This job was for Scania in Sweden via a live directed Skype session in the booth.

The ACNE team creating the videos for Scania was so lovely to work with and they are now on the company's website at:

Shakespeare & Fitzgerald

Shortly afterwards, I booked a voiceover for a US high school marching band using quotes of Juliet in Romeo & Juliet and Daisy in The Great Gatsby.

Queen Vic

Following on in the historical theme, I voiced a young Queen Victoria for a History West Midlands production earlier in the year for Andy Partington at Swift Pro Audio:

Keely Beresford recorded some quotes from Queen Victoria’s Diaries for programmes about the Great Exhibition of 1851 produced by History West Midlands. She was thorough and professional in her approach and communication, and delivered multiple takes of the audio in good time for the programme deadline. These were well recorded at her own facility, and as requested, delightfully captured the enthusiasm of the young queen. I’m happy to recommend Keely for this kind of work, and wouldn’t hesitate to work with her again.

Song of the Mutant Super Boars

A very interesting American director, Monty Marsh of Guerilla Filmworkx wanted a narration of his indie film which was chosen for Motionpoems Season 8: 'Dear Mr. President.' Every year Motionpoems connects poets and filmmakers, and helps them make motion poems (short films) that speak on the theme of each season. Monty was looking to incorporate voiceover similar to Ex Machina.

Keely was an absolute pleasure to work with. She wrapped her head around the material, and delivered a perfect reading on the first try. Her turn around time was quick, and she provided variations that allowed for multiple creative options. I look forward to working with Keely again in the future.
